Scholarships

The Saddleback Valley Educational Foundation administers several scholarship opportunities for graduating seniors in high schools in the district.

Cascell

The Cascell scholarship is given to a deserving student in one of the high schools in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. It is endowed by the Cascell family to thank the District for educating their children and helping to make them successful. The scholarship is based on an application and an interview.

Greenwald

The Greenwald scholarship is presented to a deserving young man and to a young woman at Silverado High School. The school staff selects the recipients.

Mission Viejo Company

As the developer of Mission Viejo, the Mission Viejo Company wanted to ensure the quality of education of the students living in Mission Viejo. To accomplish this, they endowed a scholarship that is presented to a deserving senior graduating from each of the three high schools within the boundaries of Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo High School, Silverado High School, Trabuco Hills High School). The recipient must live in Mission Viejo. The school staff selects the recipient.
